I've always believed that scent is a key to memory—a companion for the solitary soul moving through the world. A fragrance can carry us back in time, and it is with this reverence for remembrance that Lopeie came to be. I want to step into the future, carrying with me the scent of what was.

In the old tongues of Scandinavia, there is a word for a light and unhurried step—lope. It is a rhythm kept with the earth, a quiet certainty of moving toward somewhere, without the rush to arrive.

We named ourselves for this, believing a scent should walk the same way.

Producing and utilizing packaging materials for a product brand like ours is inevitable and necessary. We work to make thoughtful choices along the way that can reduce our impact on the planet while still being functional and beautiful.

Our packaging comes from certified sustainable forests. Our bottles are made to return—to re-enter the circle. And in our production, we strive to cut every trace of waste.
